About
Daisy Tonner was, quite frankly, a terrible human being for the vast majority of her life. Touched by the Hunt at the age of only 11 years old, existing tendencies towards lashing out and holding grudges were only exacerbated over the years. By the time she was in her late 20s, she was an Avatar of the Hunt, a conscious choice even if at the time she didn't fully understand what the Hunt itself was. A corrupt cop, a serial killer, a Hunter... Daisy only started to turn her life around after going into the Buried for months, cutting her off from the Hunt and giving her chance to make a new choice.

Daisy has, technically, spent years on the boat. She was originally part of the last excursion, that ended with Jenny killing them all, which was a violent mess of a trip full of vicious bastards. The only person she truly cared about was Basira and she sank deeper and deeper into the Hunt than ever before until her death. Now she's back, her memories have moved along her timeline, and she'd rather be dead. Go figure.
Personality
Daisy is vicious, vindictive, and violent... but she's also extremely, extremely tired of being that way. The Hunt got it's claws in her for a reason, she was always a rough child who poked fun at people and had certain ideas about justice carved into her mind by those around her, but it emphasised these traits in her over the years to the point that when the influence of the Hunt was cut off she felt like a different person. So there are things that Daisy will always be: disobedient, irreverent, stubborn and angry, but there's also a deep well of loyalty within her, a dry sense of humour, and the desire to be better than she was.

She's actually a surprisingly observant and philosophical person when you get past the gruff exterior and the way she puts these thoughts and observations. But even though she has the brains, she doesn't always use them, often acting without thinking, or using them just to cause more hurt. She still struggles to care about people beyond those she considers her people, and has some baggage around other monsters, but she is fiercely protective of those she does care for.

But she's also exhausted. Even as she starts to come to peace with her inhumanity, the fight to retain herself and her self control feels never ending. A part of her still thinks her just giving up and dying would be the only real justice for everything she's done, which leads to a lack of self-preservation and a self-sacrificial streak you wouldn't otherwise expect of someone who's generally fairly selfish.
Appearance
5'2" white woman in her late-thirties/early-forties (though really she looks younger, more like 30 flat) with blonde hair kept in a neat style that ends at her chin (or, on bad days, left scruffy and sticking out all over the place). There's something just a little inhuman about her features if you look too long, but it's most obvious in her wolf-yellow eyes and the wolf-like teeth she flashes when she snarls, not to mention the claws. She's not the most expressive of people, her expressions are toned down with anger showing stronger than any other emotion and her smiles are smirk-like more often than not.

She's always been fairly slight, with lean muscle more than actual bulk, but when she's been resisting the Hunt for too long she starts to look genuinely malnourished. Metaphysical starvation is a powerful thing, food alone isn't enough to totally overcome it. She's covered in scars, though they no longer form after 99% of injuries thanks to how they heal, the most important being a starburst shaped scar on her back that she's no longer hiding but won't go out of her way to show people. She favours nice but practical clothes, liking to appear soft and pretty to hide the violence underneath, and often themes herself with daisies and other floral patterns.
Powers
Hunt Avatar: As an Avatar of the Hunt, Daisy has primarily physical advantages and abilities. She's inhumanly strong, strong enough to cause some serious damage at her baseline and strong enough to rip apart other Avatars with her bare hands when at full power. She has wolf-like sharp teeth that seem almost like they shouldn't fit in her mouth and claws sharp enough to tear through flesh, and strange yellow eyes that would look like a wolf's if not for the vertical pupil. She can also move much faster than a normal person, and can be unnaturally quiet when stalking prey.

Her endurance is unnatural and most wounds heal essentially instantly once the cause of the damage is gone, with wounds that would be lethal to most people being little but a temporary inconvenience for her. She can die, here, but it takes the kind of things that would instantly kill a person (e.g. headshot, decapitation, enough damage to the heart) or that's otherwise impossible to heal (e.g. cut her in two or something). Hunters do not go down easily, and back home under normal circumstances it's likely only an Avatar of the End or another Hunter could've killed her.

Her senses of sight, hearing and especially smell are also all heavily enhanced, allowing her to sniff out the hint of inhumanity or other entity-related vibes. She can hear up to several miles away, but the further out it is the less she understands and mostly ignores it all as background noise.

Wolf Form: A new ability gained during her second trip on the Serena Eterna, Daisy can turn into either a normal large blonde wolf, or a giant wolf more the size of a horse.

Low-level shapeshifting: Specifically the ability to alter individual pieces of her form in minor ways, things like making her teeth and claws longer/shorter.

Handgun used to kill Calvin: Puts off major Hunt and Slaughter vibes, and has a chance to manifest in her hand (regardless of wherever it was stored) if she's feeling sufficiently murderous, whether that's towards someone or in general. If fired, there's a 1 in 3 chance it actually hits what the person firing was aiming at, shoots the wielder, or hits a random target nearby (person or object).
History
Daisy was born in the small town of Bodelwyddan in Wales. Until the age of 11 she was known only by her legal name, Alice, and she lived a fairly normal life. Her parents were nothing special, neither particularly fantastic nor actually abusive. Her father was a retired policeman, forced out due to health rather than choice, who made a point of getting involved in local politics and occasionally making use of his young daughter's apparent innocence as a tool in such matters. Daisy grew up hearing his opinions on how crime should be handled both explained in reasonable tones and shouted at the news, opinions that wormed their way into her brain like the opinions of parents are wont to do. And, unlike people's opinions on things such as girls playing with boys or girls wanting to fuck girls, these opinions stayed with her for most of her life.

At age 11, Daisy was playing with her best friend Calvin Benchley at a local park that backed up onto an abandoned building site. Their parents had forbidden them from going past the fence into the site, on account of it being dangerously unstable and a hangout for 'vagrants and druggies', but after hearing what sounded like a fight Daisy dared Calvin to check it out. Not wanting to be made fun of for chickening out, he did it. After fifteen minutes without him coming back, Daisy followed him in and saw the first two dead bodies she'd ever seen, a sight that filled her with both fear and a strange sort of excitement. And then she saw Calvin, with a strange, naked, wound-covered figure whispering in his ear. He charged her, and she ran, but he threw her into the rusted fence, giving her the starburst scar that the doctor called a daisy and gave Daisy her nickname.

Calvin claimed she had fallen and no one believed any other version of events, so Daisy stopped trying to make them. After that day Calvin changed; he was moody, got into fights, and six children were injured or killed by the time he left for university. Daisy started working for the police around that time, where she eventually encountered the Buried's coffin and signed her section 31, and over the years she kept track of her old friend, but they never could pin anything on him. Eventually, when they were both around 28 and living in London, Daisy took him to the spot she usually used to kill vampires and Calvin became the first human being she murdered. This ended what was her longest Hunt and Daisy's humanity in one fell swoop, as looking back she can pinpoint this as the moment where she truly gave herself over to the Hunt. The gradual physical changes she'd noticed over years of police work, and section 31 work in particular, solidified.

By the time she was 34, Daisy was a state-sanctioned serial killer constantly seeking out her next Hunt. She killed multiple avatars and the occasional normal human criminal that she felt had it coming, always in the same spot. Basira, her partner in the Met, knew, despite Daisy's supposed best efforts to hide it from her, and never stopped her. Eventually, they were sent to investigate the murders at the Magnus Institute and were pulled deeper and deeper into the world of the Entities. Daisy tried to kill Jon, then found herself working for Elias to protect Basira, then spent eight months in the Buried after the Unknowing. Down there, she was cut off from the Hunt for the first time since she was a child, and started to realise she didn't like being that person. So, once Jon saved her, she tried to give it up, even if it would kill her to do so. Unfortunately, when the Archives was attacked by two other Hunters, Daisy decided that to save Basira and Jon she had to give into the Hunt to take them down, forcing Basira to promise to kill her once the job was done. That's the last thing Daisy remembers.

It's only thanks to the arrival of multiple tapes from after that point that she knows what happened after. In the midst of the apocalypse, Basira, Jon and Martin Hunted her down as a now monstrous, irreversibly corrupted version of herself tore through other domains. She listened to all four tapes and heard Basira fulfil her promise. Daisy Tonner is dead, long live Daisy Tonner.

Daisy originally arrived on the Serena Eterna when she had yet to even experience entering the coffin that led to the buried. Originally it was just her and Nikola Orsinov from her world, who she either killed or avoided with no in between, and between the Captain's games and various murders Daisy returned to an old habit of pursuing women for heated one night stands with limited repeat performances. Until Basira arrived, and the two finally gave into the romantic and sexual tension. Years passed, Daisy an utter terror to other passengers and spending all her positive times with Basira, until Jenny killed Basira right in front of Daisy and then the woman herself. Daisy then spent god knows how long in the Nothing before coming back in Crabb's body during October's possessions, and finally in her own body after. From there, she had to deal with all sorts of shenanigans on the boat.
